摘要: Evaluated a low cost and practical intervention deigned to decrease children's, parents', nurses' distress during children's immunizations. The consisted of children viewing popular cartoon movie being coached by nurses parents attend the movie. Ninety-two children, 4—6 years age, their were alternatively assigned either nurse coach intervention, plus train parent child or standard medical care condition. Based on previous findings generalizatio n adult behaviors procedures, it was hypothesized that training only would cost-effectively reduce all participants levels distress.
