摘要: Using Dictyostelium discoideum as a model organism of specific and nonspecific adhesion, we studied the kinetics shear flow-induced cell detachment. For given cell, detachment occurs for values applied hydrodynamic stress above threshold. Cells are removed from substrate with an apparent first-order rate constant that strongly depends on stress. The threshold size physicochemical properties substrate, but is not affected by depolymerization actin tubulin cytoskeleton. In contrast, almost independent size, modification presence intact These results interpreted in framework peeling model. cell-detachment measure local equilibrium energy dissociation adhesion bridges, respectively.
