摘要: In this work, the electrochemical degradation of dye azure B in aqueous solutions was studied by advanced oxidation processes (EAOPs), electro-Fenton, and anodic processes, using Pt/carbon-felt boron-doped diamond (BDD)/carbon-felt cells with H2O2 electrogeneration. The higher power electro-Fenton (EF) process BDD anode demonstrated. oxidative electrochemically generated hydroxyl radicals (•OH) follows a pseudo-first-order kinetics. apparent rate constants •OH were measured according to kinetic model. absolute constant hydroxylation reaction determined competition kinetics method found be 1.19 × 109 M−1 s−1. It that leads formation aromatic by-products which are then oxidized aliphatic carboxylic acids before their almost mineralization CO2 inorganic ions (sulfate, nitrate, ammonium). evolution TOC removal time course short-chain during treatment also investigated.
