摘要: The dynamical theory of desorption from physisorbed layers irradiated by electrons or photons is presented. basic steps the microscopic mechanism are: ionization to a more strongly bound state, acceleration towards surface, reneutralization, and finally, desorption. Desorption yields kinetic energy distributions desorbing neutrals obtained in classical fully quantum-mechanical approach are numerically compared. Comparison with existing experimental data also made. Next, trajectory approximation applied study metal — adsorbate charge transfer process. neutralization rate compared one following conventional perturbation theory.
