摘要: Abstract Because of the many heterogeneous systems which are interest to chemist and biochemist, problems distortions in circular dichroism patterns have been investigated. Specifically this communication it is shown with a relatively well-characterized particular system (a suspension α-helical poly-L-glutamic acid) that there measurable differential scatter left right circularly polarized light by suspensions optically active particles. This specific example Perrin's assertion 1942 (Perrin, F., J. Chem. Phys., 10, 415 (1942)) polarization characteristics scattered would differ depending on whether or not scattering particle was active. Differential included concentration obscuring effects demonstrate distorted spectra acid can be calculated satisfying accuracy. The approach should applicable correcting for particles biological interest, e.g., membranes, viruses, mitochondria, insoluble proteins polypeptides, small crystals an effort answer crystal solution problem.
