摘要: Abstract The competitive sorption of the antibiotics sulfamethoxazole (SMX) and trimethoprim (TMP) SMX-Cd(II) on a hybrid clay nanosorbent (NanoSorb) was investigated in detail this work. NanoSorb synthesized by sorbing surfactant bentonite. Besides, SMX confirmed FTIR analysis, mainly sorbed partition mechanism due to hydrophobic interactions. Otherwise, single adsorption Cd(II) TMP onto were electrostatic interaction partition, respectively. capacity for very similar that Cd(II), but more than 10 times higher TMP. SMX-TMP antagonistic because one antibiotic decreased presence other antibiotic. uptake reduced up 43.4% TMP, whereas 29.6%. non-modified Langmuir multicomponent isotherm (NLMI) interpreted quite well experimental data SMX-TMP. On hand, revealed non-interactive it not influenced Cd(II). Whereas, synergistic or cooperative since increased considerably with NanoSorb. two-site model fitted saturated SMX. application based fact two types sites: a) cationic sites b) Pi-cation interactions between aromatic ring Cd2+.
