摘要: Significant interest exists for the scientific study and commercial application of piezoelectric materials with nanoscale dimensional properties [1, 2, 3, 4]. With recent advance in synthesis nanomaterials high crystalline quality low dimensionality [5, 6], it is now possible to size effect mechanics electromechanics related piezoelectricity. We report here such a single barium titanate (BaTiO3) nanowires. Specifically, mechanical property behaviour individual BaTiO3 nanowires having diameters down several tens nanometer are studied piezoresponse force microscopy (PFM) tensile electromechanical testing method.
