摘要: 1626 Objectives: Comparison of F-18-FDG uptake in AEG according to their localization and evaluation the initial for prediction patient survival. Methods: 154 patients (pts) with I-III (T3 N0/+ M0; mean age 57 + 6.5 years) underwent whole body PET scan prior neoadjuvant chemotherapy using an ECAT EXACT scanner. 72 pts were classified Siewert et al [Br.J.Surg 85: 1457-9] as I, 52 II 30 III. Scan protocol comprised a 20 min emission over tumor 40 after injection approximately 370 MBq F-18-FDG. For attenuation correction Ge-68-transmission was performed. Mean standardized values (SUV) lesions calculated by placing circular ROI (diameter 1.5 cm) transversal slice maximum activity tumor. assessment prognostic significance Kaplan-Meier analysis Results: Across all groups SUVmean 8.8 5.7.
