摘要: Background and Aims Reactive oxygen species (ROS), especially hydrogen peroxide, play a critical role in the regulation of plant development induction defence responses during stress adaptation, as well cell death. The antioxidant system is responsible for controlling ROS levels these processes but redox homeostasis also key factor metabolism under normal situations. Thioredoxins (Trxs) are ubiquitous small proteins found different compartments, including mitochondria nuclei (Trxo1), involved target through reduction disulphide bonds, although their oxidative has been less studied. This study describes over-expression Trxo1 first time, using cell-culture model subjected to an treatment provoked by H2O2. Methods Control over-expressing PsTrxo1 tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum) BY-2 cells were treated with 35 mm H2O2 effects analysed studying growth dynamics cultures together parameters, several components systems H2O2. Analysis hallmarks programmed death was carried out. Key Results Over-expression caused significant differences response TBY-2 high concentrations H2O2, namely higher maintained viability cells, whilst control line presented severe decrease marked indications stress, generalized after 3 d treatment. In increase catalase activity, decreases nitric oxide contents maintenance glutathione state observed. Conclusions A decreased content endogenous may be part delayed which changes parameters antioxidants extended It concluded that transformation protects from exogenous thus increasing via process not only seem involved.
