摘要: The four main scientific objectives of PRIMA — the Phase-Referenced Imaging and Microarcsecond Astrometry facility for VLTI will be described: extra-solar system characterization with astrometry, to detect planets evaluate their mass, imaging dust accretion disk, galactic center study astrometry(dynamics bulge stars) at 10 μm (piercing gas clouds surrounding galactic center), observations AGNs other extra-galactic objects, too faint observed without PRIMA, which partial is needed constrain structure models, micro-gravitational lensing event resolution (imaging astrometry photo-center) in Galactic Bulge Magellanic Clouds, helping determine directly lens mass distance.
