Simultaneous X-ray and optical observations of GX 339-4 in an X-ray high state

摘要: Optical emission, soft X-rays, and hard X-rays have been observed simultaneously from the black hole candidate GX 3339-4 in a typical high state. Each of these components is interpreted as arising characteristic region accretion disk. Considered hole, 339-4 lacks variable 2 keV blackbody component that would be emitted 'solid' surface neutron star low-mass binaries. The X-ray emission state therefore extremely stable time. intermediate disk optically thick geometrically thin. with 'disk blackbody' spectrum comes this region. innermost dynamically unstable due to effect general relativity possibly radiation pressure. This responsible for generation tail through Comptonization.
