摘要: Ischemic disorders of the optic nerve head (ONH) constitute an important cause blindness or seriously impaired vision. Acute ONH ischemia results in anterior ischemic neuropathy (AION) - a blinding disease. There is overwhelming evidence that glaucomatous chronic disorder ONH. Glaucomatous seen primary open angle glaucoma and low (or normal) tension glaucoma. Both AION are common disorders, more commonly middle aged older than young persons.
