Thrombolytic therapy with tissue plasminogen activator for the treatment of nonstructural malfunction of bileaflet cardiac valve prostheses.

摘要: This study was conducted to determine the effect of thrombolytic therapy with tissue plasminogen activator (t-PA) for nonstructural malfunction bileaflet cardiac valve prostheses. Twenty-seven patients prosthetic diagnosed by a combination cineradiography and transthoracic echocardiography were treated administration intravenous t-PA. The treatment resulted in complete success 55.6% (15 27), partial 22.2% (6 no change 27). In groups, condition 85.7% (18 21) cases improved within 24 h after Six whom instituted more than 1 month (ranged from 38 months, mean 14.7 months) diagnosis showed significantly less effectiveness Only one patient (3.7%) had major complication (thromboembolism) t-PA treatment. results suggest that prostheses is effective low incidence when early diagnosis.
