摘要: Abstract Background As new sources of organs are needed, liver transplantation using donors after cardiac death (DCD) is progressively increasing, but outcomes with this method still questioned. This study was accomplished to verify that DCD comparable those seen in donation brain (DBD). Methods a prospective cohort including 100 performed between 2014 and 2017, divided according donor type 75 DBD 25 DCD. Results were younger (mean age: 56 years, 59 years; P = .009). Mean Modified End-stage Liver Disease (MELD) score lower for (DCD 16, 19; P  Conclusion represents an additional graft source results encouraging may be careful recipient selection.
