The AIS Grand Vision Project: What, Why, and How

摘要: In 2014, the AIS Council formed a Task Force to develop proposal for an Grand Vision Project that aims address risks and side effects associated with ICT such as privacy, cyber-attacks, gaming addiction, fraud cyber-crimes, global warming, sustainability, etc. As first steps, leadership agreed organize panels on this topic at conferences launch special issue JAIS. The Bright Initiative design ICT-enabled “bright” future through globallycoordinated, funded research programs in partnership academia, industry, government, international organizations. scope of initiative encompasses development relevant technologies, business models, public policies, agreements, standards, metrics.
