摘要: It is the thesis of this paper that most therapeutic trials are inadequately formulated, and from earliest stages their conception. Their inadequacy basic, in may be aimed at solution one or other two radically different kinds problem; resulting ambiguity affects definition treatments, assessment results, choice subjects way which treatments compared. often occurs type approach ethically less defensible than other, even ruled out altogether on ethical grounds.
