摘要: The stability and persistence of preferential flow paths in sands can determine the subsequent infiltration events. We have measured evolution a slab sandy soil using an array tensiometers light transmission. pressure water content measurements show that nonuniform moisture exists even when potentials are equalized horizontally then result hysteresis soil's pressure-saturation relationship. equalization potential takes place over several days, if at all, is consistent, initially, with estimates vapor transport out finger cores. Once wet enough, remainder movement liquid films. Hysteresis produces another interesting situation pack drained. find wetter portions be lower than drier portions, resulting horizontal driving force for from to soil.
