摘要: The Upper Cretaceous North Temperate palaeobiogeographic Realm is characterized by the Belemnitellidae Pavlow and subdivided into two provinces: European American Provinces. latter includes Greenland, Western Interior Basin of Canada USA, in addition to Gulf Atlantic coasts USA. Only genera occur this province: Actinocamax Miller Belemnitella d'Orbigny. species from province are surveyed. Those belonging recorded Turonian Lower Campanian Maastrichtian. Province extends Ireland Ural Mountains nine within it: Actinocamax, Gonioteuthis Bayle, Belemnellocamax Naidin, Belemnitella, Belemnella Nowak, Belemnocamax Crick, Fusiteuthis Kongiel, all Belemnitellidae, Neohibolites Stolley which Parahibolites belong Belemnopseidae Naef. Two subprovinces have been recognized: Central Russian Subprovinces. These well defined Middle Coniacian stocks respectively. 24 belemnite zones recognizable NW Europe, 18 on Platform, 11 Balto-Scandia. tentatively correlated with zonations based ammonites, inoceramid bivalves, echinoids, crinoids, brachiopods, foraminifera. Ammonites very important for definition, zonation, correlation Cenomanian, Turonian, Coniacian. In remaining stages standard ammonite zonation not workable. On other hand, belemnites, inoceramids, foraminifera importance local Santonian-Maastrichtian northern these can be little difficulty that region.
