摘要: We review the literature that describes how (matrix-assisted) laser desorption/ionization (MA)LDI target plates can be used not only as sample supports, but beyond that: functional parts of analytical protocols incorporate detection by MALDI-MS or matrix-free LDI-MS. Numerous steps procedures performed directly on prior to ionization analytes in ion source a mass spectrometer. These include homogenization, preconcentration, amplification, purification, extraction, digestion, derivatization, synthesis, separation, with complementary techniques, data storage, other steps. Therefore, we consider it helpful define "lab-on-a-plate" format for carrying out extensive treatment well bioassays plates. This introduces lab-on-plate approach and illustrates aid relevant examples from scientific patent literature.
