摘要: Though research in the field of business and society is increasingly involved with sector Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) their advocacy function, particular relation to corporations, literature remains largely silent on how feasible reforms can help establish public trust credibility NGOs by improving quality reliability contributions real-life discourses. In an effort fill this gap, we argue that fostering collective NGO requires focusing level governance accountability. Based a fundamental conceptual distinction between private-goods dimension public-goods accountability, show semantic confusion complicate functional solutions trust. We illustrate our argument case study worldwide initiative sector, „INGO-Accountability Charter“, including qualitative-empirical results five expert interviews representatives member organizations.
