摘要: Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-MS) has become a valuable tool for analyzing microorganisms. The speed with which data can be obtained from MALDI-MS makes this potentially important biological health hazard monitoring and forensic applications. excitement in the community potential field of application is evident by expanding list research laboratories pursuing development bacterial identification. Numerous groups have demonstrated ability to obtain unique spectra intact cells cell extracts. differentiate strains same species been investigated. Reproducibility under carefully controlled experimental conditions also demonstrated. Wang et al. reported on interlaboratory reproducibility analysis several species. However, there are still issues that need addressed, including careful control parameters reproducible selection optimal such as solvent matrix.
