摘要: Abstract CMV is a common cause of disease in immunocompromised patients. Because sampling the diseased organ can be invasive, markers systemic reactivation such as pp65 and viral load are commonly used to monitor patients at risk disease. In this retrospective analysis, performance these was compared solid transplant recipients, with haematological malignancies HIV infection. Both assays were sensitive reactivation, however, predictive value for positive result both low. Compared load, assay less marker reactivation. It only when greater than 3 log (10) copies/ml whole blood negative 10 instances between 5 logs. concordantly samples, number cells varied widely relative counted could not predict likelihood any certainty. To conclude, provides more consistent guide determine count
