摘要: Chairperson: Matthew Bundle This thesis proposal describes the design, fabrication, and testing of a high-speed force treadmill capable measuring vertical horizontal ground reaction forces imparted to bed during stance phase human running. Natural frequency, crosstalk, linearity, use aluminum line shaft with flexible couplings, center pressures, comparison over-ground running were investigated. The natural frequency was 113 Hz achieved in part through remove mass motor (36.8 kg) negligible dissipation treadmill. linearity test results showed high up expected sprinting as well minimal crosstalk. pressure accuracy extremely using measured determine point application. Ground waveforms both directions for speeds 8.1 ms on speed nearly identical established methods plates magnitude duration contact same by subject. demonstrated acceptable such that it can be used variety research gait analysis applications limits speed.
