摘要: BACKGROUND It has been suggested that immunogenetic factors for susceptibility or resistance to disease caused by Helicobacter pylori exist in the host. To examine host genetic increase risk of gastric adenocarcinoma among H. pylori-infected persons, HLA-DQA1 locus was examined patients with adenocarcinoma. METHODS Eighty-two and 167 unrelated controls were infection genotyping. In addition, serum pepsinogen A (PGA) C (PGC) values PGA/PGC ratio, which have characterized as markers mucosal atrophy, also analyzed. RESULTS Of controls, 121 positive (+) 46 negative (-). All (-) individuals had normal endoscopic histologic findings. Among 36 superficial gastritis 85 atrophic gastritis. The allele frequency DQA1*0102 significantly lower group than control groups. intestinal type control, gastritis, diffuse Serum PGA PGC ratio did not differ genotypes; however, groups groups. CONCLUSIONS The may contribute against pylori-associated atrophy its association adenocarcinoma, whereas absence be a factor adenocarcinoma. Cancer 1998;82:1013-8. © 1998 American Society.
