摘要: In his seminal 1962 paper on the ``threefold way'', Freeman Dyson classified spaces of matrices that support random matrix ensembles deemed relevant from point view classical quantum mechanics. Recently, Heinzner, Huckleberry and Zirnbauer have obtained a similar classification based less restrictive assumptions, thus taking care needs modern mesoscopic physics. Their list is in one-to-one correspondence with infinite families Riemannian symmetric as by Cartan. The present develops corresponding theories, special emphasis large deviation principles.
