摘要: Modular lower limb prosthesis is composed by custom-fit parts, such as the socket containing residual limb, and standard components available on market, knee or foot. For both custom parts support offered existing design tools not efficient integrated enough and, a result, most prosthetists do use computer-aided still rely only their personal expertise. This paper presents an approach to configure complete for transfemoral transtibial amputees, using patient’s digital data (e.g., model acquired MRI) specification sheets of components. The ultimate goal realise virtual laboratory where technicians can guided step system. We have identified key characteristics guiding prosthetist during four main steps production process: acquiring data, modelling, selection assembly check. developed innovative framework integrates different guide each task providing specific knowledge rules.
