摘要: Techniques are disclosed for the non-disruptive and reliable live migration of a virtual machine (VM) from source host to target host, where network data is placed directly into VM's memory. When begins, interface card (NIC) stops placing newly received packets A server driver (VSP) on stores being processed forces return memory stored NIC. VM has been migrated target, VSP transferred resumes processing packets, when sends messages NIC that associated with packet free, intercepts message, blocking receiving it.
