摘要: A radiation therapy system optimized for treating extremities such as the breast has unique geometrical features that enable to deliver an accurately located prescribed dose a target volume while eliminating or reducing collateral delivered rest of patient. The patient lies in prone position on rotating, shielded table, with anatomy be treated protruding through orifice table into path beam. An optional integral imaging provides accurate localization each treatment session.
