摘要: This invention relates to aqueous epoxy resin-containing compositions which are particularly useful for depositing coatings on freshly galvanized metals in order protect the metal against white rust and provide a surface is universally paintable. The generally comprise (A) an oxidized alkyl ester of dibasic carboxylic acid, (B) trivalent chromium, (C) hexavalent (D) organic resin component consisting essentially at least one water-dispersible or emulsifiable mixture resins containing more than 50% by weight resin, (E) water, said composition being further characterized as substantially free strontium chromate. wet coating substrate may be dried low temperature insufficient cause curing then painted with any primer immediately thereafter decorative topcoats building materials, appliances, automobiles. also substrates having passivating their surfaces.
