摘要: The design of the front-end for a radio-astronomical receiver usually presents notable challenges in terms large bandwidth and polarization purity and, more recently, very high frequencies investigated. In thisarticle, whole at 100 GHz (horn backing ortho-mode transducer) is discussed critical aspects related to mechanical structure due frequency operation are outlined. article also discusses aluminum electroforming technology chosen manufacturing front-end. Finally, results measurements taken on prototypes shown.
