摘要: Metal-coated polymer articles containing structural substantially porosity-free, fine-grained and/or amorphous metallic coatings/layers optionally solid particulates dispersed therein on substrates, are disclosed. The porosity-free coatings/layers/patches applied to or composite substrates provide, enhance restore vacuum/pressure integrity and fluid sealing functions. Due the excellent adhesion between coating article satisfactory thermal cycling performance is achieved. invention can also be employed as a repair/refurbishment technique. coatings particularly suited for strong lightweight articles, precision molds, sporting goods, aerospace automotive parts other components exposed stress created by erosion impact damage.
