摘要: At 20°C in the presence of THF, toluene, ethylbenzene, cumene, xylenes and mesitylene are directly metallated by caesium. The organocaesium compounds obtained carbonated (CO2) or condensed with an alkyl bromide yields 50–90%. During metallation we observed evolution theoritical quantity molecular hydrogen. same process applied to various alkylbenzenes allowed us determine substrates involved reactions metallic caesium THF.
