摘要: Single cells were recorded in the visual cortex of monkeys trained to attend stimuli at one location field and ignore another. When both locations within receptive a cell prestriate area V4 or inferior temporal cortex, response unattended stimulus was dramatically reduced. Cells striate unaffected by attention. The filtering irrelevant information from fields extrastriate neurons may underlie ability identify remember properties particular object out many that be represented on retina.
