Performance analysis of piezoceramic elements in soil: A review

摘要: Abstract Piezoceramic elements are the electro-mechanical transducers which generate shear and compression waves. Application of these piezoceramic bender/extender is an emerging trend in geotechnical engineering for determining various soil properties. However, wave velocities using influenced by factors such as bender-soil interaction, types input waves, particle size shape, dimension specimen, contact behaviour, reflection refraction phenomena circuitry parameters frequency, amplitude, properties geometry elements. Keeping this view, a detailed review analysis results from element testing available literature was done presented paper. Analysis test has been with reference to influencing velocity method interpretation. Outcome present work supposed be very useful selection measuring during tests soils.
