摘要: Lamina-associated polypeptide (LAP) 2, which directly interacts with B-type lamins and chromosomes, is an integral membrane protein specifically distributed along the inner nuclear of envelope. The chromatin- lamin-binding activity LAP2 suggests that plays important role in targeting mitotic vesicles to chromosomes reorganizing structure at end mitosis. Here I identified a interacting protein, termed L2BP1 (LAP2 binding 1). rat cDNA sequence predicted encode 89 amino acids turns out be homolog mouse human BAF (Barrier-to-Autointegration Factor). diffusely throughout nucleus interphase cells. It is, however, highly concentrated during M-phase. Further, domain overlaps its chromosome-binding region. These findings suggest candidate mediator LAP2-chromosome interaction
