摘要: More than 100 simultaneously measured profiles of wind speed and temperature were analyzed to determine the aerodynamic thermal roughness lengths glacier ice. The results proved be extremely sensitive measurement height, which is difficult define precisely on hummocky terrain a glacier. Therefore, estimated from microtopography surface, yielding 2.46 mm for ice, 5.5 snow. Despite indeterminate nature profile analysis, it did support view that length must decrease as Reynolds number increases, relationship has been modelled in literature. Good agreement between bulk-transfer estimates eddy-correlation measurements fhe sensible heat-flux density melting ice snow was obtained by combining with suitable model length.
