摘要: Purpose: To demonstrate explantation of the Nellix Endovascular Aneurysm Sealing (EVAS) System in setting infection. Case Reports: Two male patients, 71 and 83 years old, underwent implantation for asymptomatic infrarenal aortic aneurysms measuring 5.1 6.3 cm, respectively. Each developed late infections at 8 4 months post EVAS, The first patient experienced aneurysm rupture after medical therapy failed; endosystem was explanted an uneventful procedure. second aortoduodenal fistula, which sutured before device removed without complications. died 3 later, presumably due to ongoing Conclusion: need explant a EVAS graft infection is straightforward procedure compared removal conventional endograft with suprarenal fixation.
