摘要: The quantification of management impacts on fish populations requires a reliable estimation the local hydraulic habitat variability. In case complex natural flows, deterministic models are expensive and not adapted to description velocities. Statistical descriptions velocity distribution as function easily obtained input variables therefore an attractive alternative. Existing data several French stream segments with intermediate-to large-scale roughness were analyzed statistically define shape parameter point frequency distributions. Dimensional analysis was used model this parameter, thereby distributions, simple average descriptors reaches (discharge, mean roughness, depth, width). Such predictive physical availability for in probability domain can provide managers cost-effective decision tools.
