摘要: In a biomechanical study, the strength of healing experimental fractures in rabbit tibias was compared for two different environments. During period large constant compression applied to one leg, while other leg subjected cyclic forces. Rabbits were sacrificed at 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 weeks after operation. The bones tested dynamic torsion testing machine. Results indicate that on an average basis treated exhibited higher torque energy absorption failure, but lower stiffness as with bones, during 30 50 days' period. These differences statistically significant. Additionally, it estimated 27 per cent saving time may be realized bone compression.
