摘要: Abstract: The reactions on the interface between a technical material and target tissue determine performance of an implanted system. This chapter introduces fundamental mechanisms foreign body reaction from engineering point view, discusses selection criteria properties for substrates, provides overview isolation encapsulation materials implantable sensor actuator systems. It presents some general design considerations level concludes with short methods to reduce at level.
