Effect of Local Strain on Low Cycle Fatigue using ESPI System

摘要: Low cycle fatigue cracks are mainly detected at discontinuous welded locations with high stresses under repeated cyclic static loads due to cargo leading and unloading. Theoretical analytical methods have been used for evaluation of local stress strain which an effect on a prediction life, but those difficulties considering concentration notched location complicated material behavior joint or heat affected zone. Electronic speckle pattern interferometry(ESPI) system is nondestructive non-contact measurement can get the relatively accurate full field critical positions such as zone structural location. In this study, was measured cruciform by ESPI then low test performed. Effect life examined values using system. Moreover, experimental compared established S-N curves theoretical calculated Neuber`s rule.
