摘要: Abstract Framing effects have a significant influence on the finitely repeated matching pennies game. The combination of being labelled “a guesser,” and having objective opponent's action, appears to be advantageous. We find that player who aims match action is advantageous irrespective whether moves first or second. examine alternative explanations for our results relate them Edgar Allan Poe's “The Purloined Letter.” propose behavioral model which generates observed asymmetry in players' performance.
