摘要: Abstract Previously optical basicity was always measured using s-p absorption spectra of Tl+, Pb2+ and Bi3+, but since these are in the UV region, media containing oxides transition metal aons have been excluded from such measurements. The present work shows that for VO2+ d-d 2 B → E red-shifts with increasing basicity, a study Na2OP2O5 glass system allows comparison results obtained previously Tl+ other probe ions. It is shown under controlled conditions determination viable, spectral band occurs visible / near-IR transparency medium no longer necessary. therefore offers means obtaining basicities glasses e.g. PbO, or metallurgica slags Fe2O3 MnO.
