摘要: Heuristic optimization algorithms have become a popular choice for solving complex and intricate sensor placement problems which are difficult to solve by traditional methods. This paper proposes novel interesting methodology called the asynchronous-climb monkey algorithm (AMA) optimum design of arrays structural health monitoring system. Different from existing algorithms, dual-structure coding method is designed adopted representation variables. The process incorporated in proposed AMA that can adjust trajectory each individual dynamically search space according its own experience other monkeys. concept ?monkey king? introduced AMA, reflects Darwinian principle natural selection create an interaction network correctly guide movement Numerical experiments carried out using two different objective functions considering Canton Tower China with or without antenna mast evaluate performance algorithm. Investigations indicated exhibits faster convergence characteristics generate configurations superior all instances when compared conventional For structures stiffness mutation such as Tower, needs be considered part separately.
