摘要: We have reviewed 293 papers published since 1950 to assess the evidence of effect ultrasound in treatment musculoskeletal disorders. Twenty-two clinical describing trials comparing with sham-ultrasound treated, non-ultrasound and untreated groups were found. These evaluated respect a list criteria which should be met this type trial. They generally found lacking description drop-outs, randomisation methods, apparatus, control mode delivery, size sound-head, treated area follow-up time. In 16 these trials, treatments compared 13 cases data presented way that made pooling possible. Two standardized sizes (dd/r dd/s) applied results enable evaluation on pain. None methods = 0.64%, confidence limits -6.7 7.5%; dd/s 0.24, -0.01 0.49) gave pain relief could achieved by treatment. Hence we no reason analyze other where was another or an group. significant influence degree blinding using d/s for analysis (t test, P 0.009), while when d/r used, only trend (P 0.10). An proper result not possible because inadequate used. conclude use disorders is based empirical experience, but firm from well-designed controlled studies. One question remaining whether can augment exercise therapy
