摘要: An increasing number of theoretical and empirical studies approach the function human brain from a network perspective. The analysis networks is made feasible by development new imaging acquisition methods as well tools graph theory dynamical systems. This review surveys some these methodological advances summarizes recent findings on architecture structural functional networks. Studies connectome reveal several modules or communities that are interlinked hub regions mediating communication processes between modules. Recent analyses have shown hubs form densely linked collective called “rich club,” centrally positioned for attracting dispersing signal traffic. In parallel, recordings resting task-evoked neural activity revealed distinct resting-state contribute to functions in cognitive domains. Network increasingly applied clinical context, their promise elucidating substrates mental disorders discussed.
