摘要: The effect of the Martian crustal magnetic field is one hot topics study ionosphere. studies on this topic are summarized in paper. Main data ionosphere were resulted from radio occultation experiments. According to observations, electron density scale height and peak influenced by its field. strong horizontal prevents vertical diffusion plasma makes topside close that photo equilibrium region. In cusp-like regions with field, enhanced leads a larger observation experiment onboard Mars Global Surveyor (MGS) showed averaged observed southern hemisphere was slightly than northern weak advanced radar for subsurface sounding (MARSIS) Express (MEX) first sounder be used observe MARSIS results confirmed enhancement occurred open lines, amount much experiment. There two possible mechanisms regions: One precipitation energetic particles other heating waves excited instabilities. It’s difficult determine which key mechanism enhancement. Based these studies, several interesting problems environment presented.
