摘要: Two trends in study of vegetation exist today, arising from two different conceptions the basic object investigation. According to first concept, is a group plants, and regarded as composed quite definite, well-delimited units whose characteristics distribution are based on ecological phytocoenotic factors. Accord ing second individual plant its envi ronment, not considered be differentiated into distinct sociological (so far we can tell) but changes continuously struc ture full accordance with continuous habitat areas species (continuum foreign authors). Adherents view more numerous widely known only USSR abroad, they unanimously consider societies real, although go their separate ways regard con cepts association, unit vegetation. Some association concrete, others abstract.') There also various views nature as: i) Structural wholes, homogeneous certain extent composition structure differing homogeniety relationships both between plants
