Magnetic field data for trapped-particle evaluations

摘要: A report was given at the Bergen meeting1 regarding some new work on geomagnetic field along lines previously reported [Cain et al., 1965]. This report, which will be published in Proceedings of meeting, contained a determination including external coefficients doubtful reality. At request participants meeting for best possible fit to most recently available data using internal only, we have made one further analysis epoch 1960.0 fitting selection 197,000 survey observations taken over period 1945–1964 with series 99 spherical harmonics and 48 first derivatives. listing these results is Table 1.
