摘要: Stink bugs (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae) are commonly monitored using pyramid traps baited with a pheromone. Initially, the were painted yellow and predominantly used to monitor native stink bug species. However, research studies involving exotic Halyomorpha halys Stal now use that black, not yellow. As H. moves across southeastern United States, of single trap, or for monitoring conducting would be beneficial. Our objective was compare black lure determine if one superior trapping herbivorous bugs. This study conducted at four locations, three in Alabama Georgia, over 2 yr. Additionally, residual efficacy measured via trap capture 1-mo intervals. results showed only when species combined, 1 yr, captures significantly affected by color. Capture most abundant species, Euschistus servus (Say), Trap how long trap. The data from this suggests conjunction pheromone multiple adult bugs, especially is favored.
